Worth including if something's wrong
A bug report with these four things in it can usually be fixed the same evening. Without them it turns into twenty questions.
- The channel it happened in.
- Exactly what you typed, including the arguments. -lbwatched dave heat, not "the letterboxd one".
- What the bot replied, or that it said nothing at all.
- Roughly when. The bot keeps its own logs, and a rough time is enough to find the message.
Answered before you ask
Four of these come up almost every time.
Can I get it in my channel?
Ask, and mod the bot once it joins. /mod germans in your own chat. Twitch only shows its Chat Bot badge, and only lets it time viewers out for duels, when it's a moderator there.
A command does nothing in my channel
Most likely a moderator switched that group off with -toggle. Type -toggle spin on (or whichever group) if you're a mod there. If that isn't it, it's a bug, so tell me.
How do I unlink my accounts?
-setlb clear, -setchess clear and -setanime clear forget your Letterboxd, Chess.com and AniList names. -unset all clears saved teams. Nothing is kept anywhere else.
The bot posted something it shouldn't
Tell me straight away. Film titles and badge names come from other people's data and are filtered before posting, but a filter that misses something is worth fixing that day.
